Gilles REGUILLON

CEO

Chamatex group

Gilles Réguillon, a general engineer, began his career at the Calor Pont-Evêque factory (Isère). He quickly progressed and held various management positions within the SEB group for 12 years.
His DNA pushed him towards an entrepreneurial project in the bicycle industry around a patent he filed on the concept of a variable geometry mountain bike fork. After 2 years spent in this group Gilles Réguillon decided to join Chamatex in 2006, a French textile company created in 1980, in order to develop the technical fabric department. He will quickly take over the general management and in 2011 he will buy Chamatex and become CEO.
After years of strong growth, he created Chamatex group in 2019, the holding company that oversees all the activities of the group, which now includes 7 companies all based in Auvergne Rhône Alpes: Chamatex, Rocle, ASF 4.0, Toptex Cube, Teinture des cèdres, Moulinage de la Volane and most recently Insoft.
Gilles Réguillon is characterized by his creativity and his desire to constantly go further. He wishes to accelerate the growth of the Group to place Chamatex among the leaders in the technical textile sector by revolutionizing production methods in France and internationally. Under his leadership, Chamatex has succeeded in multiplying its turnover by 5 in 10 years, reaching 33.5 M€ in 2021. Gilles Réguillon’s objective is to reach a turnover of 100 M€ within 5 years.
