IRT SYSTEMX

Approved in 2012 as part of the Programme d'investissements d'avenir (PIA) - now part of France 2030 - SystemX is a technological research institute (IRT) dedicated to digital systems engineering. In a rapidly changing world, where mastery of the key technologies of digital transformation will be at the heart of the systems of the future, the institute is deploying the full potential of research into these technologies to design a safer, more efficient and more sustainable world.
In line with the objectives of France 2030, SystemX operates structuring research programs that create value on a societal scale by addressing the major challenges of digitalization and decarbonization. These programs encourage collaboration between a wide range of industrial partners (large corporations, ETIs, SMEs, start-ups), academic and institutional partners, and promote multidisciplinarity and cross-fertilization between sectors.
Located in the heart of Paris-Saclay and the Lyon region, SystemX is dedicated to removing major scientific and technological barriers in 5 priority application sectors:
- Mobility and Autonomous Transport,
- Industry of the future,
- Defense and Security,
- Environment and Sustainable Development,
- Digital and Healthcare.
